Thursday ~

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes.
Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality.
Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like...

Getting Sniff adjusted is taking some time.  He is
terrified of all sounds and spends most of his time under
the bed.  I really don't like it, but it is what it is.

"Lucky" us.  This week the building is testing the fire system,
and of course the fire alarm and all kinds of announcements are
being made.  Extremely loud.  Have not seen much of Sniff.
He does reappear at nights and spends a little time
with me while I read or watch TV.

For Sniff everything is new.  He is still looking for his
favorite spots.  For the birds and trees.  Now he sees
the boats, and the water.  At times it catches his
interest, but most times he just ignores it.

As for me I am enjoying the water view, the palm trees,
and the beautiful scenery that is the Sunshine State, but I can't help
thinking of Branson as home as yet.  How strange is that.  I miss
home, but home is here.  Where Sniff is.  I know once the 3
of us are back together it will feel more like home again.

To all a good day.  There is a lot of promise
in the day and I plan to make the most of it.

Every day is a new day, and you'll never be able
to find happiness if you don't move on.  Live news teaches
you some incredibly strong lessons: that every day is a
new day, and it's never too late to fix something...

It's A New day...

A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?
Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live! ...

little pampering called for
Sometimes when I feel out of sorts, sad or down I either decide to clean and trust me today I was in no mood for intensive cleaning, so my next option was to treat myself to a little bit of pampering.  I decided to have a little spa treatment.  Always makes me relaxed and feeling so much better at least while it is happening.  In a week I will be treating my mom also to one of these treatments.  She loves them and I love doing little things for her.  Like your mom and dad, mine are the best.

Last night mom and dad were here for the boat parade.  Over dinner and drinks we all had a very nice and relaxing time.  I really enjoy seeing my dad and Arvid together.  They get along so well and it makes me happy.  My parents love Arvid as do all my family and Arvid loves them as well.  For me this is happiness and I could not ask for any more.

We all had a great time.  My parents were extremely excited to see the parade and really enjoyed it.  So many beautifully decorated boats.  Unfortunately, getting a good picture was not so easy.  My dad by the way, has already made friends with the neighbors.  One in particular has already showed him around her home and even offered him and my mom the use of their bicycle to tour the area.  Just the thought is funny!
Still very sad about all the tragedy in the world and though I try to shut it away I can visualize the tears that will forever be a part of the lives of these parents, friends, brothers and sisters...

I am grateful for what I have, for my family and for my friends and just as a way to cheer me up one of my friends sent me the cutest little picture of what Christmas is to a cat.

Our world is far from perfect, but if we all made an effort maybe we can start changing it a little at a time.

Wishing you all a good day and just remember that somewhere out there someone is not as fortunate as we are.

Run, because you can. Jump, because you can. Dance, because you can. Sing, because you can. Love, because you can. Smile, because you can. Be happy, because you can. Do it, for those who can't....
