Eleuthera is known for having some of the best surfing spots in the Bahamas. Or, as surfer's say, "Right gnarly". The good breaks, as well as the warm, clear water make it a truly enjoyable surfing location. The best surfing area, in Eleuthera is Surfer's Beach.
