On The 7th Day ~ I'm Grateful Always

Be grateful for every second of every day that you get to spend
with the people you love.  Life is so very precious.  Make it count...

During the holidays I love to walk around the mall and just look at all the decorations and
see how people are getting into the Christmas spirit.  Of course this means shopping
and more shopping for many.  Yesterday I spent a few hours on my own at my
favorite mall, and I was surprised to see that it was fairly empty especially with
all the "huge" sales going on.  I think many are now buying mainly online.
I like online shopping just like anyone, but I still enjoy going
to the mall and seeing what's going on around me.

Even with the holidays, tragedy does not take a "vacation" and it has affected a few close
friends and family in our circle.  Both Arvid and I have been taking a moment to re-evaluate
what's important and what's not.  We do it quite often, but when tragedy strikes it becomes
more apparent.  We really stop and think of what's important and what's not.

I realize that what I thought was so terrible in my life is NOTHING compared to what
many are going through and I once again realize that there is so much to be grateful for.

Wishing you all a good day.  Take a moment to re-evaluate your life and to appreciate
what you have.  Never try to compare yourselves to others because unless you have
walked in their footprints you have no clue what they are going through.

The things you take for granted, someone else is happy for...
