And So Begins A New Week....

Don’t start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday.
Everyday is a fresh start.  A new month, a new week,
a new day.. the opportunities are endless...

In the next few days we will be heading to Chicago.
That’s all Arvid talks about. Day and night he says,
“ I can’t wait until we get to Chicago.”  Yes he’s super excited.
Maybe more than me as I have said before.  I love the city,
but he dreams of it and of living there again.

Sunday was really good.  We relaxed and then took Tiffany,
Chris, and their boys out to dinner.  Everyone’s loves a good steak.

After dinner Arvid and I walked around a little. We checked
out a few stores and he even went into the new H&H with me.

Have to say I was really disappointed with the store.
Was almost as terrible as the one in Fort Lauderdale.  It’s still
new so hopefully it will get better.  All Arvid said was,
“the quality of the clothes was really cheap.”

After walking around a bit we drove to a favorite scenic spot
of ours, Big Cedar Lodge.  There we had our frozen custard.  It’s so
much better than ice cream.  Then it was back home to Sniff.

As the new week begins, there are quite a few things
we need to do before leaving for vacation.
Almost Home is 100% occupied.

One of my long term tenants will be leaving on
Tuesday.  She was there from the day I took over.  Saying
goodbye to her was emotional.  Both Arvid and I like her very
much, but I have grown attached to her and to few others.
I will miss her very much.  We already have a
new tenant lined up for her room.

Before leaving for vacation, I have to groom all the kitties.
I already bought food for Bridgette and I made a special little
something for a few tenants.  Compliments of Shutterfly.

Weather is beautiful.  The birds are flocking in the backyard,
Sniff is happy.  Life goes on and even though we sometimes
want what we can’t have, we have everything we need.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead.
At he end of the day it is what it is.

Life is not the way it is supposed to be.  It is the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference...
