Getting Settled In Again ~

For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence,
look up at the sky, and contemplate how amazing life is...

Back in Florida.  We are supposed to have a more
relaxing lifestyle.  So far not happening.  Life is rush,
rush, rush.  Arvid has a bad case of road rage as well.
Says it’s not serious, but when I see the way
he acts, seriously I don’t think it’s a joke.

Sniff is getting used to his Florida home again.
He has found his own spots to hang out in.  He’s
eating good again, and running around like a maniac.
Good to see him feeling at home.  He's a happy boy.

I’m still adjusting.  I find myself getting angry a lot
for no real reason.  Arvid said I have to just let go and forget.
I know he’s right, but the difference between him and I is that it takes
longer for me.  When he walks away from something it’s already
forgotten.  Does not matter what or who.   Sometimes I feel
as if he has no feelings or attachments to anything or anyone.

Well not true.  He has attachments to Brutus, and it
shows in the many pictures he has of Brutus in his office.
That’s his saving grace for me.  Arvid loves
Brutus and it shows all the time.

Everyone who meets Sniff loves him immediately.
And Sniff being over friendly loves them as well.  He greets
everyone at the door.  We love our Sniff Sniff.
Our days are busy right now. Still getting organized.
Arvid has tons of papers to organize.  Keeps him busy all
the time.  Guess it's better than being idle.

Not having lived here in almost 2 years
everything is dusty, and sticky.  Everything
needs to be cleaned several times. So even
when you think you're getting there,
 you start all over again.

We enjoy the boats, the swaying of the palm trees and the breeze.
Life is good.  I may not have all that I want, but I have what I need.
Hope you are also having a good day and feeling grateful
for all of the things we tend to take for granted.

Each day you wake up, you wake up with billions
around the world but when the sun sets, not all retire.
It is a joyful privilege to note that you are a unique
person among billions of people who wake up
each day to walk on the surface of the earth.
It is a noble responsibility to note that you
have to use this privilege effectively...
