Tuesday November 21st~

With the right mindset, we can't lose—we either practice
what we've learned or we learn what we need to practice...

Yesterday's appointments were very early.  Arvid was still
asleep when I left, and the fog was thick yet beautiful.

The day cleared up beautifully as it progressed.
By afternoon when we went walking it was perfect.
As always the sunsets never disappoints.

On the way back home we found a soccer match in progress.
Arvid did not hesitate to join.  His 40 years of playing soccer
when younger kicked in.  All I can say is that he's still got it.

Here at home Sniff continues to be as cute as can be.

To all a good day.  The day has begun with blue skies and sunshine.

We can choose to be hopeful, try and possibly fail
or not be hopeful, give up and definitely fail...

Wednesday March 16th ~

 Success doesn’t just find you.
You have to go out and get it...

Meanwhile back home in Florida, the days are bright, the
palm trees are swaying and everyone is just having a jolly merry
time in the sun.  How I miss the Sunshine State this minute.

Believe it or not we have seen a few cars here in our
area with Florida plates, and a few of our neighbors in our
complex are currently vacationing in Florida.  And to think
we lived there.  Don't get me wrong, I like Branson, but it is
definitely not as beautiful as Florida, nor Puerto Rico

For over a year, we woke up to this every morning while
we lived in Puerto Rico.  Yes, this is the view from our then
balcony in Puerto Rico.  How I miss that island, my sister, Kimsy
and my kitties.  In the blink on an eye, our lives have changed.

Change is not bad.  It makes you grow and takes you
out of your comfort zone.  We are ready for it.  Always.
Good morning and a beautiful day to all.  Life is good
and everyday is an opportunity to strive and do better.

The only limit to your impact is
your imagination and commitment...

Wednesday June 16th ~

The best portion of a good man’s life is his little
nameless, unencumbered acts of kindness and of love...

Every so often Facebook brings up a memory form a
past event or place in our lives.  Recently it has been many
memories of Branson.  I do miss it and I think fondly
of everyone still there that we consider friends.

Many places we loved, and as Arvid keeps reminding me,
"the food was very good."  We found the best frozen custard
there.  I could, really welcome some of that right now.

Wednesday begins with lots of wind.  It has already
rained heavily this morning, but thankfully when I was
ready to go feed the kitties/walk there was no rain.

I have been restless in Puerto Rico for a long time now.
Arvid is finally there.  This is good.  Because when he
is restless then I am sure we will soon need a change.
Home is looking closer every day.  I hope.

Hello new day.  Surprise us 😍.

In order to write about life first you must live it...

💚 North Carolina Thursday July 23rd ~

Life is not a problem to be solved
but a reality to be experienced...

I'm so happy we are visiting my parents, even
though with this new norm it makes for a little different
visit.  Arvid and I have been in and out and around people.
Always at a safe distant, and with a mask 😞.

Even so, for my parents' protection we are staying
6 feet apart when its possible.  As Arvid said "it's for
their protection more than anything this time."  How
terrible it is to be next to your loved ones ones
and not be able to give them a big hug.

Mom and dad look good.  The have a beautiful
home and being there is always peaceful and calming.
Arvid and my dad did find time to go and explore a bit.
We had take out yesterday.  Chicken wings and pizza.  A favorite of everyone. Since this pandemic,
they have not even done takeout 🍕.

Enjoying time with mom and dad.
 Grateful and happy always.

So very thankful.  Incredibly grateful.  Unbelievably blessed.
Gratitude turns what you have into enough 😍😍...
