Friday Vibes ~

You cannot do a kindness too soon because
you never know how soon it will be too late...

MacGyver is missing his Marbles.  He is now
running around on his won.  Still trying to check
out what everyone is eating even though he has
the same.  I really love this little dude.

Baby is pregnant.  Baby is just a baby herself.

This situation has me depressed.
Still trying to see what I can do.

On the home front, Sniff is back to not eating.
I will try to not stress about it.  He has food 24/7 so
if he's hungry all he has to do is go and eat.  Not
so very lucky the little ones living in the wild.

Friday.  So far we have not seen the rain, but
judging from the skies we will soon 😂 Island
living.  It is what it is.  Go with the flow.

I’ve had/have a remarkable life. I seem to be in
such good places at the right time. You know,
if you were to ask me to sum my life
up in one word, gratitude...

Monday March 15th New Week ~

Every new day begins with possibilities.
It's up to us to  fill it with the things that
move us toward progress and peace...

Looking forward to what the new week holds. A
few trips to Miami is in the picture.  All work this
time.  Which is fine, better than staying home.

As long as we are busy I am happy.  That was one
of the many things I enjoyed while being in Branson.  We were
forever busy.  Sometimes maybe too much so, but I never
had time to be "bored" or restless.  I miss those days.

I enjoyed that phase of life very much.  No regrets, but
always also good to move on.  Which we are good at.

Spring break is in full swing.  Everyone is in Florida.
Everything here is full open.  It's fun in the sun.

Approach each new day as a new opportunity
to be the person you aspire to be...

Friday Vibes ~

It's not that we spend five days looking forward to just two.
It's that most people do what they enjoy most on those two days.
Imagine living a life where everyday are your Saturdays and Sundays.
Make everyday your weekend. Make everyday a play-day...

Waking up to really nice and cooler temperatures.  Loving it.
Arvid of course can't stop saying how cold it is.  Perfect
time to open some windows and the balcony doors.
Get some of that fresh air circulating.

As you all may know, I love t-cups.  Not just any kind.
Has to be just right and only I can buy my own t-cup.
My mom also knows what I like and has bought me a few.

Sniff is already tucked in next to Arvid.  As Arvid
put's it, Sniff is helping him to do our income taxes.

Started working out a little since we got back to Florida.
Can really do with a few less pounds.  Long journey ahead,
but it's been a few months already and I keep pushing on.

Friday is looking good.  Not sure what we have in
store for it as yet, but that's the beauty of our lifestyle.
We make decisions in seconds and run with it.

To all a good start of the weekend.

Friday fills your day with excitement as it waits
for the weekend to pay a visit. So, don't let it down....

That Time Of The Year ~

Looking back at my life’s voyage I can only say
it’s been a golden trip.  The best memories are the ones
you can’t explain.  You just had to be there...

Everywhere you look it’s Christmas; I look out to the
neighbors across the canal and their homes are all nicely lit up.
Our building goes all the way out as well with the lights.

Arvid and I went walking to the beach and it’s a
beautiful sight.  The entire building is covered with lights.
It’s always so nice to walk around and see all the
happy people.  Yeah. Christmas is beautiful.

Here at home we don’t put out a Christmas tree.
The last time we had one Brutus was alive.  Let’s say the
tree did not fare well.  Brutus sort of climbed it.  Since
then we thought it safer to not have a tree.  I'm sure Sniff
would also attack the tree and tilt it over.  If we had one.

My sisters all have their trees up already. All
decorated and smelling good.  I do love the smell
of the fresh trees.  I’m tempted to buy a small
one, but then I think of Sniff and I don’t.

Many years ago in Puerto Rico, my brother-in-law
bought a few containers filled with Christmas trees.

Back then my nephew J was just a baby, but he was
there almost everyday with his mom and dad “helping”
to sell the trees.  Even I was part of this selling
Christmas tree spirit.  Was a beautiful time.

We have been having a few cooler days here,  I love it.
Arvid of course is in sweaters and long pants.
I’m don’t know how he survived in Norway.
He is no Viking, but he sure is cute.

The year has gone by too fast.  Only last year we were
in Branson for Christmas.  Yes, I know life goes on,
but a part of me misses everyone in Branson.

I just hope they are doing well, and that the holidays
bring them all joy, happiness and everything good.
To my friends in Branson, I think of you often,
and with the fondest of memories.

To all a very good day.
Soon it will be Christmas Day.

For it is in giving that we receive.
May your days be merry and bright...
