 A bend in the road is not the end of the
 road unless you fail to make the turn...

Arvid checking out the power lines to see if he can figure 

out the reason we have no power in Ft. Myers.  He sure was way

 off base this time.  What he saw, which was really nothing 

is not the site of where the damage has occurred.

Cleanup is going on everywhere.  Some are fortunate to be able to cleanup.

Furniture is scattered all over the street.  

These blocks you see are part of the boat dock.  

They made their way everywhere, but in the water.

The water taxi found himself stranded in the parking lot of
 this restaurant.  Arvid and I were at Pinchers on the Sunday before

 the hurricane hit.  They also sustained way too much damage.

Walking can be very hazardous for your health.  

The street is covered with raw sewage.  It smells.

Life suddenly changed again for so many, and not in a good way. 

 Arvid, Sniff and I are considered lucky in this big picture.

Yesterday we enjoyed a very good outing in Fort Lauderdale. 

With each new day comes new perspectives.  Happy Wednesday all.
