What A Wonderful Time...

The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree:  the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.....

Christmas is a time for family and usually we spend it with my parents in North Carolina.  Always something we look forward to, but recently my parents have been coming to Florida for the holidays.  I LOVE it, since I get to see them for almost an entire month.
This year one of my sisters and her kids are also going to be in Florida.  What a wonderful present this is.  No wonder Christmas is my favorite time of the year.  We get a chance to see Kimsy and JC.  This is a real treat!....can't wait even Arvid says he is looking forward to seeing them.  My nieces and nephews adore Arvid because he always finds time to chat and spend quality time with them:)  He finds them very interesting and very knowledgeable in so many ways.  Sometimes I think he is more in awe of how much they know.  This goes for all my nieces and nephews.  They are all very smart, independent and very self confident.  He likes this a lot.

Summers we visit Arvid's family and for the Holidays we visit my family...works out really great.  Christmas means more to me than it does for Arvid....he really is not crazy about it.  I love Christmas.  Some of my fondest memories are of Christmas as a child.  My parents made it special for us always and they still do.  Home for the holidays.....nothing beats it. The smell of the tree, the scent of fresh baked goodies and all the wonderful aromas that is unique of my mom's cooking makes Christmas my favorite season of the year:)

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.  The good you do for others is good you do yourself:)

From home to home, and heart to heart, from one place to another. The warmth and joy of Christmas brings us closer to each other....

until next time:)
