During life’s highs and lows, hurts
and happiness, a sister is always there...
I have always heard so much about Seattle,
Washington. Mostly how much it rains. Well we will
have the opportunity to see how true this is. I came
prepared with my umbrella, and I'm glad for that.

Hopefully today the day will be perfect. No rain,
no clouds. You see today is Mala's birthday. Truth is
rain or not we have already made plans and today
we celebrate. Tonight even more so.
Mala is the 4th of five girls to my parents. If there
was ever a more easy going child than her then I will
stand corrected. In a way I helped to raise her even
though I am only 3 years older. Rima is the baby
in the family, but Mala is like my baby.
It's not often I get to be with one of my sisters on
their birthdays. Life happens and it is not always easy to
coordinate plans, but today I get to celebrate with Mala,
(birthday girl), Reshma and Torin. I'm grateful and
I am happy. Today is definitely a special day.
