Saturday is a day to do what you want
and forget about what you have to do...
As the week comes to an end, Saturday emerges
as a breath of fresh air—a day that symbolizes
relaxation, freedom, and endless possibilities.
Make sure you enjoy all of its splendor.
The other day Arvid and I went to RecPlex to
walk. I must did more than I should and the next
day I paid the price. My knee is killing me.
Last night as Arvid was out having drinks with
Russell and Roger, I was not feeling it so I stayed home
and had a little outing on my own. As it got darker I did a
little check to see if any of the kitties were out. Oliver was,
but since I do not want to make the same mistake like I
did in Puerto Rico (getting too attached) I just looked.
But then I saw the moon. I had to go out.
This morning as I went to feed Oliver I saw a
neighbor whom Arvid and I thought may be dead
since his car never moves from its spot. The first thing
I said to him was, "I thought you were dead and we
were starting to get worried. Glad you're not."
He looked at me and smiled, said, "I'm okay.
I just work night shifts and sleep all day." Boy
wasI relieved. One less person I worry about.
Sniff has been stalking birds and squirrels all morning.
Today a second squirrel showed up. Sniff will be
busy and exhausted at the same time, but happy.
Saturday is looking good. To all a good one.
May your weekend be sprinkled
with joy, laughter, and moments
that make your heart dance...
