Lucky I Guess....

You don't choose your family.  They are God's gift to you, as you are to them...

When we were all very little growing up together my dad always said to us, "I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich"  I have never forgotten these words and as the years go by, and as one gets older you come to realize how important this is, especially when you are separated by hundreds of miles.

My family is a very close knit one as I am sure many of you are yours.  Growing up together 5 girls we had no other option.  Today I realize how fortunate we are.  As the years have gone by and we have all gone separate ways, we have maintained that closeness and that bond which I have come to realize is not always an easy thing to do, just by seeing how others live and how they treat each other.  Not always in the kindest of ways.

In my family we are always kind and respectful to each other, which is the only way I know.  To all of you, cherish the family and friends you have because they are the only ones you can rely on...

It's been said that, "happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city."   I say it all depends on the family.

Have a good day all...

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind....

Other things may change us, but we start and end with family....
