Sunday...A New Day

Embrace every new day with gratitude, hope and love.
Today I FULL of promise.  Make it ridiculously AMAZING...

Sniffer slept all night long.  Woke up when we did and now for some reason is
sleeping again.  He's so tired even though he slept the entire night away.  Did not even
eat his soft foodies.  Life of a cat  Just relaxing and so very stress free, but I tricked him
with his feather toy and before you knew it he was wide awake and playing.

Interesting fact:  Lobsters come in many colors.  I think I knew it, but never paid
attention to it until yesterday when Arvid was reading the news to me about a rare blue
lobster found in Maine.  Don't know if I would eat it, but the colors are sure pretty to look at.

Everyday we enjoy walks around the city.  Everyday we are more fascinated by
Chicago as well.  The music, the restaurants, the people, the vitality it's just so contagious.
There is so much going on that at times it does get a bit overwhelming.  One has to really be on
the ball to not miss out any of the attractions planned for the summer.  Best of all most of it is free.

Just yesterday alone in a span of an our we saw a bridal part, and 2 girls
celebrating their Quinceañera.  This is a really big deal in the Latin American culture.
It is a celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday with cultural roots of Latin America, but
celebrated throughout the Americas. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other as it
marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.  The families go ALL
OUT for it. This celebration is as glamorous as a wedding just look at the dresses.

One thing is for sure, there is always something happening here.  Always something
to see.  Our Sunday is looking sunny, warm and beautiful. Another day to discover more
of this city we love so much and yes enjoy a good meal at one of our favorite restaurants.

Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet.

Man starts over again everyday, in spite of all he knows, against all he knows.
A new day: Be open enough to see opportunities. Be wise enough
to be grateful. Be courageous enough to be happy..
