Look for something positive in each day, even
if some days you have to look a little harder...
I always tell myself to stop watching the news, way
too depressing, but like everyone else I still do it. After all
one has to stay informed of what's going on. Our local news
here in Miami/Fort Lauderdale is even more depressing. Killings,
crimes and more killing. Since coming back from Puerto Rico
both Arvid and I feel as if it's gone to hell. Really, fast.
Truth being said, no matter the violence, crimes, etc
you can't take away the fact that Miami/Fort Lauderdale
has an attraction that transcends all of this. People see the
beauty of the place and the lifestyle and for them that is
enough. I see the beauty also. I also know about the
other side. at the end of the day. it's a choice we make.
Our walks is a constant reminder of what a beautiful
place we live in, and that makes up for the rest. Grateful always.
Weather is going to be perfect this week. Warm, sunny and
no hint of rain as of right now. Today Victoria and Michael
(in Norway) should have been making their way to Florida. The
day after they arrive we usually go out and have a good meal and
drinks together. Thank you Covid. Another thing you ruined.
So many lives are put of pause right now. Families can't
see each other as before. At least my family lives in the US.
My chances of seeing them are somewhat much better
than Arvid's. His family all are in Norway. So yes,
times are very difficult right now for families.
Thursday. Not much planned. Maybe a little trip out
to Home Depot. Always something you can get there
according to Arvid. Yes, excitement abound here
😹😂 Hope we survive it😂in one piece 😂
And just like that, a new day begins. Hello all.
Do the best you can until you know better.
Then when you know better, do better...
