A smile is the light in your window that tells others t
hat there is a caring, sharing person inside...
What better way to start the day than with a big smile on your face. It has been said that:
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest
compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
That's me and Madeline a few years ago. Then my smile came automatically and
frequently. It is still here, but sometimes it takes a little longer to show up.
You know what they say, a smile is a curve that sets everything straight. When Brutus
died it was hard to smile. It still is, but Shadow came along and one just had to
smile at all the things he did. He was just one HAPPY kitty. Then he died also.
I know that I am the type that is almost always happy and I know I always have a smile to
give. Arvid seems to think that I smile and talk to just about everyone who comes my way, and
you know what he is not wrong! I know that there is nothing wrong with smiling at
everyone and talking to them. It makes me happy and I am certain it makes
others happy as well. Unless of course I am being difficult and abrasive.
Has been known to happen. Oh well we can't always be perfect.
