The only thing that overcomes hard luck is hard work.
Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life...
Arvid and I are not your typical people. We really enjoy our leisure time together,
but we also love when we are constantly busy. These last months in Chicago has
been mostly leisure time. A few jobs in between, but nothing that took up most of
our day. We came back home and before you knew it we doing what we love best.
Yes since coming home we have not had a minute of this so called leisure
time. It has been a constant go, go, go and best of all, we LOVE it!!!
Last few days in Chicago we have been working wit a customer. Yes,
we still do real estate. We work as a team, so I find the properties,
Arvid chekecks out the locations and puts them in the order we will
go and see them, and then I call the agents and schedule the showings.
Works out great! Yesterday both Arvid and I were doing this and before
we knew it, it was already 9pm. Arvid sees the time and he says,
"holy smokes! it's 9pm and we have not eaten as yet" Dinner is at 7pm
and he is very consistent. He drops everything and has dinner (a slice
of bread and jam). Always the same. I work a bit more and then follow
suit. Then a nice shower and some unpacking for me while Arvid says,
"well time to watch TV now. I've done enough for tonight" So as he watches
TV, I sit here and write my blog.
Brutus has been really good during the flight. Never uttered a "word"
When we got home he knew exactly where his favorite spots were.
Yes, as long as Brutus is adjusted and back to normal both Arvid and I are
happy. Brutus slept most of the day and only showed up for some food and water.
Then it was back to bed! First day in Florida and the skies were angry...
I decided to call it a night by 10pm and to watch some TV with Arvid.
It has been a good first day, busy and we are tired. Not bad and best
we will sleep really well tonight. Need to be because it sure will
be another busy day running around...yes, good to be back and great to
always be busy.
Happy days to all of you...
When you are asked if you can do a job, tell 'em, 'Certainly I can!'
Then get busy and find out how to do it.,
work hard, have fun, make a difference...
