Last Sunday...

Slow down and enjoy life.  It's not only the scenery
you miss by going too fast-you also miss the sense
of where you are going and why....

We are ready to back home to Florida.  The apartment is empty and with so much
pending back home it's now time to say goodbye to my favorite city of all times.
back in Florida, I am looking forward to having my car again.

I have to say we have been very fortunate to have been able to call this city home
for the last few years.  It has made such a big impression on us,
and I know we will always look forward to coming back for a visit!

Something about being in your own car all alone, yes feels good.  Since my car
is a lease,we will be changing it soon.  Though I like the idea of a convertible,
I just hope we do not get another one.  In the last three years if we put the top
down more than 15 times I think that was a lot.

The past weeks in Chicago have been strange weather wise.  One day cold
then all of a sudden warm.  We have used each day to do something we
like and at the same time we have tried a few different places.  One of the
places that was really beautiful was Fulton's Steakhouse on the River

In Florida we rarely eat much steak, but like Arvid said, "seems like we
eat steak  every weekend"  The truth is, the food in Chicago is excellent,
and their steakhouses are some of the best.  In Florida, we have
discovered a place excellent for steak called Kaluz, and we are
looking forward to going there with friends when we get back.

Kaluz...

This being our last Sunday we will go to the Marina enjoy the scenery,
the food, music and people watching.  One of our best times
ever is spent here. As the days wind down, I am not that sad
anymore because I know we will come back and though not to
our apartment it will always be a great time here in Chicago, also
perfect for just taking a last few stops at my favorite shops and around the city.

Wishing you all a beautiful Sunday.

The most important thing is to enjoy your life,
to be happy- it's all that matters....
