Sisters..

Side by side or miles apart we are sisters connected by the heart...

We are 5 girls and I am the eldest of the 5.  Big responsibility, but one I would do
forever and ever.   It has been one of the best "chores" I have ever undertaken.  That
of being the big sister.  It is not often that one of my sisters come to stay with us,
so you can imagine my excitement of having Nirvana with us or a few days.

I was holding my breath until we actually saw her landing at the airport.  With her
nothing is guaranteed so it was not a sure thing until the very end.  I'm in heaven.

Growing up we had our disagreements.  Many.  Just like sisters do.  Today just like
sisters, we are best friends.  When in Chicago she and I spoke almost everyday.
It was fun and even when it was only for a few minutes it was always interesting to
hear what she had to say.  Her life is INTERESTING to put it mildly.

The things that happen to her,be it good or bad are not necessarily the same things
that will ever happen to us "normal" people.  Even Arvid has to say that she is"special."
Both Arvid and I were constantly urging her to come.  Arvid is good to my family.
Just like I am good to his so it evens out and it makes us happy.

Myself and my 4 sisters included have been through quite some rough times in life, but
what has seen us through and will continue to do so is the bond we share.  You know the
saying that goes, "she's my sister, break her heart and I'll break your face?" Well that goes
for all of us.  You mess with one of us then there are 4 more you have to deal with.

I am one of the fortunate ones in life.  I have 4 sisters.  I have 4 best friends
and without them my life would have never been this good.  I am grateful always!
Best part of it is that she and I get to spend some time alone. I must have done something
good to deserve all of this.  Whatever it is, I am forever grateful for these moments with Nirvana.

There's nobody in the world that knows me better than my sister...
