Sometimes I wish I could rewind back to the good
old days and press pause just for a little while..
I continue on my low iodine diet. So far it has not been too bad.
I do miss my morning coffee, but instead I have black tea. Getting
sorta used to it. No dairy products. Not so bad. I can have
almond milk, oat milk coconut milk. I just choose not to.
Next week I have 5 doctors visit. One a day except for Friday
when I have two. Thursday I have no doctors appointment.
Arvid and I will take the time to do a little something.
I finish with the iodine diet on November 17th. That makes it
3 weeks. Sure looking forward to something sweet. The most
difficult part is when we go out. I can't eat restaurant food, but I take
my own. Working out. I have not had any of my fruity adult drinks
even though they are allowed. I am also on antibiotics for a ton of
stuff so that's why, but this weekend I will sample something adult.
Next week because I will be receiving a radiation pill I will
have to keep my distance from Arvid and Sniff. That means
sleeping in the second bedroom. Not bad because many
a days I am awake too early and I find refuge in it.
A good evening to all and something to ponder on: your ability
to be adaptable and flexible will help you to stay open to
all of the hidden gifts that difficulty may offer
People who wonder if the glass is half empty or
half full, miss the point. The glass is refillable...
