Coming together is a beginning, staying together
is progress, and working together is success...
Norway holds beautiful memories for us. After all, Arvid
is Norwegian, and family lives in Norway. Norway is
an absolutely beautiful destination. Hands down.
I met Arvid in March of 2000. At the time he was going to
Norway twice a year. He asked me to go with him that year,
but I said it was too soon. Come 2001 I have been going
every year except for 2 years during the pandemic.
What I like about Norway is being with loved ones. My first
times in Norway were challenging. I'm stubborn and I was
not adaptable. Today I am older and I have gotten better.
Our life together so far has been one amazing journey, and I
am counting on more beautiful times ahead for us. Our family
has grown. We have 3 beautiful grand-daughters in the mix now.
Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.
Our lives have been made better because we shared/share it with a little fur baby.
The reason for this stroll down memory lane is that soon Arvid and I
would have been married for 22 years. For both it's our second chance,
and we sure plan to continue making it the best second chance ever.
One of the best decisions we made was to move to Puerto Rico
during COVID. It was the best time living anywhere. It's not
that as if it's always easy, but then what in life ever is?
Every adventure, every challenge, I want to face it all
with you by my side, for the rest of my life...
