Top Picks For Us...

Hey, I know it's Monday, but it's also a new day,
a new week and in that lies a new opportunity for something special to happen...

Another week has gone by and a new one begins.  Today marks 10 days for Brutus
without medicine.  So far his paw is still looking good.  We're happy.

As you can see he is relaxed, happy and enjoying his new sunbed.  Brutus is in Heaven.

With lots of running around and moving cars around from warehouse to warehouse,
it made for a busy and enjoyable week.  Arvid and I are happiest when on the move.

This past week our restaurants of choice was PF Chang's.  Never a bad meal there and
for Arvid nothing beats his Kirin on draft.  As a starter the chicken lettuce wraps are awesome.

They are the perfect start to the excellent meal that follows.   This restaurant is located at
the Galleria Mall.  No water views here, but the food more tan makes up for that.

After we were done i decided I wanted to shop around a little.  So we did some mall time.
Of course Arvid soon was bored so I happily suggested he go and have a drink
somewhere and we meet later.  Blue Martini was the place of choice.  Have to
say their signature drink, called of course Blue martini is always good.

Arvid was not happy with his gin and tonic.  Reason: he said the glass was too small.

Our Sunday saw us at one of our favorite restaurants on the water.  Houston's.  If you're
looking for views, good food and just a good ambiance, this is one of our top choices.

Like with every restaurant we go to, we always order the exact same thing.  Here at
Houston's both Arvid and I go for the chicken with the apple glazed sauce.

This weekend there was no music for us.  Instead we opted to go to the movies.  With the
Dine-In movie theater, we find ourselves going to the movies more and more often.  If
there is something I would like to see and Arvid not too into it, I have no problem
heading out there on my own.   The movie of our choice was Furious 7.

The special effects in this movie were amazing.  It kept us definitely glued to
the screen.  Was it believable?  Definitely not.  After falling from buildings, mountains,
head on collisions and more, not a single person ad a scratch on them.  Did I enjoy it?  Sure did!

Happy Monday everyone.

The whole of life is just like watching a film. Only it's as though you always get
in ten minutes after the big picture has started, and no-one will tell you the plot,
so you have to work it out all yourself from the clues...
