Welcome 2021 ~ Happy New Year

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in.
A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves...

It definitely can't be worse than 2020,
so here is to a wonderful 2021.

Arvid rang in the New Year back home in Fort Lauderdale.
Sniff and I had a cozy time here in Puerto Rico.  Always good
with some alone time.  I don't mind it, but at the same
time will be good when Arvid gets back home.

Looking forward to see what the year holds for us.
What it holds for the the rest of the world also.

2021.  We have all been looking forward to you.
Hope you don't disappoint, for everyone is long overdue for
some good things.  I would love to see  family this year.
Here in the USA and family in Norway also.

As January begins, I know our time in Puerto Rico is
coming to and end for now.  It saddens me.  I love knowing
Nirvana and Kimsy are here and we can see each other
whenever we want.  I am so missing them already.

We will only be on flight away.  Easy to say, but does
not always happen the way we want.  That being said, we will
be back and I am so grateful for the time we had with them.
We still are not gone as yet so will be seeing them more.

What is definitely going to break my heart is leaving
my feral babies all alone.  I try to not think of them.  I
try to not "see" them looking for me.  I try to block off
their cries. So far I have not succeeded in doing it.

New year and time to be positive and happy.  I am
happy that I have been able to take care of them for the time
we have been here.  happy that I still have time to do so.
Because of that I am happy and I am very thankful.

I had one of the best days ever.  Spent it with
my sister, J and Kimsy.  Was missing Arvid and the
rest of the family, but for being Covid times I could not
ask for a better time.  Thank you.  Let's not forget that
there is always something to be grateful for.

Welcome to January, the month of new beginnings.
This is the time of the year that most of us stop and
take stock of our lives.  A good practice to do
more than once every twelve months.

One resolution I have made, and try always
to keep, is this, to rise above the little things...
