The journey is never ending. There's always gonna be growth,
improvement, adversity; you just gotta take it all in and do what's
right, continue to grow, continue to live in the moment...
Yesterday both Arvid and I were at Almost Home.
Cleaning in preparation for todays inspection. Arvid is usually
more there because he works hand in hand with Michael our
maintenance man, who by the way is doing a good job.
As always I visit Andrew's garden. Summer you
can tell is coming to an end. There are still tomatoes
and other vegetables, but they are now dying out.
The office is also under control with Patricia so my
presence is not that much needed, but when it comes for
inspection it never hurts to have extra hands to help out.
Arvid has been working at Almost Home for months now.
He does not know when to say he's tired. And not to brag, but he
does it better than anyone else, he's a hands on man. I have learnt to
listen to my body, but he pushes himself to the brink of exhaustion.
Hopefully after today things will quiet down and we will "fade"
into the background. After all, we are semi-retired now.
Work and you'll get what you need; work harder and
you'll get what you want. Hard work beats talent when talent
doesn't work hard, and Arvid knows that better than anyone.
Halfway through the week we still have many things to
take care of, but little by little it's all falling into place. Good
morning and a good day to all. It's soon inspection time.
Working hard is important. But working kind
is just as important, and you've nailed both...
